The core of this strategy lies in trading Micro E-mini S&P 500 futures options, known as MEES. Tailored for smaller accounts, MEES lets you leverage the same principles as S&P 500 futures with a more manageable investment. The strategy involves a clever combination of put options to create what I call a “111” trade.

Mastering the 111 Trade

The 111 trade is structured as follows: Buy a put option at the 30 Delta, sell a put option at the 28 Delta, and sell another put option at the 10 Delta with the highest open interest. This configuration sets up a put debit spread that starts making money when the market drops below a specified level (in this case, 4740). The key is flexibility – this strategy works whether the market is trending up, going sideways, or even experiencing a downturn.

Risk Management and Profit Potential

Managing risk is crucial for any trading strategy. In this case, we have a predefined stop-loss and take-profit strategy. If the profit approaches $60, I consider closing the trade early to secure gains. Conversely, if the loss hits around $150, it’s time to cut losses and move on. With an initial investment of $600, the potential 5-6% monthly return makes this strategy an attractive option for consistent income generation.
