I’m now a CPA but began my career working in politics.

His Background

I’m married, have two kids, and work as a CPA for a real estate company. In college, my main interests were history and political science, and I worked after college on political campaigns and for organizations in Mississippi, Kansas, Kentucky, and Washington, D.C. I discovered that a lot about what I loved about campaigns was the data behind it. That, and not wanting to move every year, led me to get my CPA and become an accountant. I’m a graduate of Ole Miss and am a huge Atlanta Braves fan.

His Journey Trading Credit Spreads

I’ve been passively investing since getting high school graduation money. Within the last two years, I decided to take a more active approach with a portion of my investments. Thankfully, I’ve stayed away from “get rich quick” schemes. However, I originally started with strategies that required being locked to your computer screen watching for the perfect profit exit point or to cut it for a reasonable loss. In the end, I had to move away from these because I simply could not commit enough time to that style of trading. 

When searching for a somewhat active trading approach that would have a much more limited time commitment, I ran across Austin’s IS2 system. Not long after I joined, he created the 10% Credit Spreads System, and I signed up right away. The proof is in the pudding. I’m 15 green trades in and have grown my account by over 11%, only trading credit spreads. This system is a great balance between profits and the time needed to trade. It has been great for me, my investment account, and my career.
